McFarlane Lake Mining Fast-Tracks Juby Gold Project Growth with MRE Update and Bulk Sample
McFarlane Lake Mining Advances Juby Gold Project

McFarlane Lake Mining Limited (CSE: MLM, OTC: MLMLF, FRA: W2Z) has announced significant progress in its exploration and development activities at the 100%-owned Juby Gold Project, located west of Gowganda, Ontario, within the southern Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The company is fast-tracking growth by initiating an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and advancing plans to extract a bulk sample of gold mineralization.

Highlights of the Announcement

The company reported that drilling results to date have exceeded expectations. At the Golden Lake deposit, McFarlane has established continuity of mineralization over 400 metres along strike, with gold intercepts ranging from 92 metres of 0.95 grams per tonne (g/t) gold to 208 metres of 0.88 g/t gold. Two diamond drill rigs are currently active at the Golden Lake deposit, with visible mineralized intersections extending over 100 metres in multiple drill holes still pending assay results, expected within two to four weeks.

Resource Growth and New Discoveries

McFarlane is expanding known mineralized zones and making new discoveries, such as the 826 Zone located 1.5 kilometres from existing resource mineralization. This strengthens the narrative of an evolving prolific gold property. The updated MRE, expected in June 2026, will incorporate results from the current drill campaign, including expansion drilling at Golden Lake and step-outs targeting the previously underexplored 826 Zone. The company believes these efforts will enhance both the scale and continuity of mineralization at the Juby Gold Project.

Environmental Baseline and Bulk Sample Advancement

Environmental work is underway with monthly sampling at the site to support baseline data collection. Regulatory and First Nations discussions are progressing to support McFarlane’s submission of a “Notice of Project Status” for a 50,000-tonne bulk sample. The company targets a closure plan and bulk sample extraction for 2027.

MRE Update Initiated Ahead of Schedule

Based on continued success from the ongoing drill program, McFarlane is initiating an update to its Mineral Resource Estimate to produce a National Instrument (NI) 43-101 compliant resource and accompanying technical report. Recent drilling has delivered consistent mineralization across multiple target areas, supporting the company’s internal assessment that the property has the potential to significantly increase its current resources. The updated MRE is expected in June 2026.
