Halifax Regional Police have launched an intensive search operation for a vulnerable senior who disappeared from a Dartmouth healthcare facility. Gerald Joseph Dugas, 70, was last seen at Dartmouth General Hospital on Wednesday morning around 11 a.m.
The concerning disappearance has prompted immediate police action, with officers conducting ground searches and appealing to the public for assistance. Authorities are particularly concerned because Dugas requires medical attention that he is currently not receiving.
Description of Missing Senior
Dugas is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-8 inches tall with a medium build. He has short grey hair and was last seen wearing distinctive clothing that could help identify him.
When he went missing, Dugas was wearing a black baseball cap, a blue jacket, and grey pants. This specific outfit combination may make him more recognizable to members of the public.
