Vanessa Trump, a model and the ex-wife of President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a personal health update. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote in a post. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
In her message, Trump emphasized her positive outlook, stating she is “staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” She concluded by asking for privacy as she concentrates on her recovery.
The announcement drew an outpouring of support from family members, including her former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump and her daughter Kai Trump. Ivanka commented, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you, mama,” while Kai wrote, “Love you! Strongest person ever.”
Vanessa Trump and Donald Trump Jr. divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage. Despite their separation, she has frequently appeared at political and public events alongside their five children in recent years. She is currently in a relationship with professional golfer Tiger Woods.
