Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. has reported high-grade gold intersections at its Duquesne West property in Quebec, with assays from hole DQ 26-20 showing 61.5 g/t gold over 15.0 metres, including multiple occurrences of visible gold.
Significant Assay Results
The latest results from the conceptual Main Pit include a 15.0-metre interval grading 61.5 g/t gold, with two adjoining high-grade assays of 557.5 g/t over 1.4 metres and 100.9 g/t over 1.0 metre. These occur within a broader 35.8-metre halo of anomalous gold values averaging 26.09 g/t gold.
Representative images of the mineralized zone show visible gold intersected at a down-hole depth of 405.7 metres, approximately 380 metres vertical depth.
Historical Context and Additional Drilling
The new high-grade intersection is located 35 metres down plunge from a historical hole by Santa Fe Canadian Mining in 1995, which intersected 20.9 g/t gold over 16.0 metres. Additionally, hole DQ 26-36, located east of the conceptual pit, returned 7.9 g/t gold over 1.5 metres and 0.5 g/t gold over 28.0 metres.
True widths are estimated to be between 70% and 90% of reported widths.
Drill Program Details
Emperor Metals Inc., which operates the property under an option from Duparquet Assets Ltd. (50% owned by Globex), is conducting a 2026 drill program exceeding 15,000 metres, combined with 8,000 metres of historical core sampling.
