LiberNovo Launches Maxis Big & Tall Ergonomic Chair Line
LiberNovo Maxis Big & Tall Ergonomic Chair Debuts

LiberNovo has launched the Maxis series, its first ergonomic chair line designed specifically for Big & Tall users, rather than being scaled up from a standard chair. The series is available today in three configurations, along with two new additions to the LiberNovo Omni family.

Built for the Body, Not Scaled Up

The Maxis series targets three common issues faced by larger individuals in standard seats: unsupported thighs, unstable recline under weight, and inadequate support that fades by mid-afternoon. The chair features a 52 cm seat that fully supports the thighs, multi-density foam that resists bottoming out, a tall backrest, and an adjustable neck support positioned at the neck rather than behind the head. The frame is BIFMA-certified for up to 181 kg (399 lb) and sits on a die-cast aluminum alloy base.

Stable Recline Under Load

For heavier users, recline stability is often a weak point in standard chairs. The Maxis offers a five-stage recline control ranging from 105° to 160°, with dynamic support that keeps the frame steady at every angle. Whether sitting upright for focused work, leaning back between tasks, or fully reclining during long sessions, the chair remains planted and secure.

Enduring Comfort for Long Days

The chair is engineered to provide firm support and comfort throughout extended use, whether for eight hours at a desk, an evening reclined at home, or a marathon gaming session. It is designed to maintain its performance beyond the first hour.

Three Configurations for Every Body and Budget

The Maxis series ships in three versions:

  • Manual (C$1,169): Core build with five-stage recline and aluminum alloy base.
  • Electric (C$1,509): Available in Graphite or Glacier, adds powered lumbar support and spinal stretch function.
  • Airflow (C$1,769): Top-tier model with Active Airflow seat ventilation for users who tend to overheat.

Two Omni updates also launch today: the Omni SE, a manual entry into LiberNovo's Dynamic Ergonomics platform, and the Omni Pro, a fully electric version with powered lumbar, spinal stretch, and Active Airflow. Together, the lineup covers a wide range of body types and budgets.

Launch pricing is available from today through July 31, with savings up to 42% off MSRP.
