Gatineau Woman, 52, Charged in Drug Bust with Gun

A 52-year-old Gatineau woman has been charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses following a police raid on Thursday at a residence on La Vérendrye Boulevard East.

Seizure of Drugs and Firearm

Officers from the regional anti-drug squad (ERM) executed the search warrant and seized quantities of crack cocaine, ecstasy, methamphetamine tablets, psilocybin, and cannabis. In addition to the drugs, a handgun was confiscated during the operation, according to a police release.

Police did not disclose the specific quantities or estimated street values of the seized substances.

Legal Proceedings

The suspect has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Gatineau courthouse at a future date. The investigation remains ongoing.
