General Fusion Inc., a leader in the global race to commercialize fusion energy, has announced the appointment of Thomas Boehlert to its Board of Directors, effective May 12, 2026. Boehlert will also serve as Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee as the company prepares to go public through its previously announced business combination with Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. III (NASDAQ: SVAC).
Extensive Experience in Capital Markets and Energy Transition
Boehlert brings over three decades of experience across industrials, natural resources, agribusiness, power generation, and the energy transition. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at US Strategic Metals and as a director of Arizona Sonoran Copper Company. His proven capital markets expertise further strengthens the company's board leadership as it advances towards the public markets.
