Emerita Hits High-Grade Copper-Gold at El Cura Deposit

Emerita Resources Corp. (TSX-V: EMO; OTCQB: EMOTF; FSE: LLJA) has reported drilling results from its El Cura deposit, part of the wholly owned Iberian Belt West project (IBW) in Spain. The project hosts three volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits: La Romanera, El Cura, and La Infanta. A prefeasibility study compliant with NI 43-101 standards is underway, with completion expected in Q3 2026.

High-Grade Intercepts at El Cura

Drill hole EC102 intersected 3.9 meters grading 3.8% copper, 0.9% lead, 1.6% zinc, 2.81 g/t gold, and 71.26 g/t silver, including a 2.6-meter interval grading 5.5% copper, 1.0% lead, 1.9% zinc, 3.97 g/t gold, and 99.15 g/t silver. Drill hole EC099 returned 6.6 meters grading 0.9% copper, 1.4% lead, 2.5% zinc, 0.89 g/t gold, and 51.52 g/t silver, including 1.4 meters grading 1.1% copper, 3.7% lead, 5.0% zinc, 1.86 g/t gold, and 175.86 g/t silver.

Other notable results include EC105 (1.0 meter of 5.4% copper, 2.9% lead, 5.9% zinc, 2.95 g/t gold, 112 g/t silver) and EC103 (0.7 meter of 1.4% copper, 2.6% lead, 5.3% zinc, 2.57 g/t gold, 49.08 g/t silver). True widths for these intercepts range from 67% to 100% of the interval width.

Drilling Progress and Deposit Continuity

Exploration at El Cura reached a milestone in June 2026, with over 100 drill holes totaling 37,329 meters completed since delineation began in June 2023. Holes EC102, EC103, and EC105 improve definition in the upper-central portion of the deposit and demonstrate continuity. Holes EC099, EC101, and EC104, drilled on the western portion, indicate extension of the deposit in that direction. Approximately 500 meters of strike length separates hole EC102 from the deep western intercept of EC104.

Public Consultation Phase Complete

The public consultation submission phase of the Unified Environmental Authorization (AAU) for the IBW project is now complete, moving the project forward in the permitting process.
