Yungblud Cancels, Nelly Replaces at Cowboys; Stampede Guide

British musician Yungblud has cancelled his scheduled performance at the final day of the Cowboys Music Festival, with hip-hop artist Nelly announced as his replacement, according to a note from Yungblud's management posted to the Cowboys Instagram page. The note stated the musician was pulled from the festival "reluctantly," and that this was not a decision taken lightly. Yungblud also issued a statement saying he is working on himself and taking time off at home in the UK.

Stampede Attendance and Weather Update

Wednesday saw 147,497 people pass through the gates of Stampede Park, bringing total attendance to 891,662 so far. Thursday is forecast to be another hot day with a high of 25°C, plus a 30 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. If rain hits, the 8-Bit Roundup arcade in the Big Four Building is a good indoor option.

Footwear and Essential Tips

Taking in the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth requires a lot of walking. Cowboy boots, if broken in beforehand, can be an ideal footwear choice. The 8-Bit Roundup has returned to the lower level of the Big Four Building, offering not just food but a full arcade. Thursday also features the regular slate of pancakes, rodeo, and music.
