Emergency Response and Road Closure

Calgary police confirmed that officers and fire rescue teams responded to the scene. Authorities closed 2nd Avenue S.W. between 3rd Street S.W. and 4th Street S.W. until the area can be rendered safe. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area until crews secure it.
