Boat School Opens for Youth on Halifax Waterfront

A new educational facility named the Boat School has opened its doors on the Halifax Harbour, offering young Nova Scotians the opportunity to learn maritime skills firsthand. The facility, which opened on May 21, 2026, is located on the waterfront and is operated in partnership with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
