Metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon is set to bring their electrifying cyberpunk performance to Rogers Place in Edmonton on September 23. The ever-evolving pop metalcore group, known for their dynamic sound and high-energy shows, will be making a stop in Alberta as part of their extensive Canadian tour.
Tour Details and Background
The Sheffield, England-born quintet has been active for more than two decades, consistently topping the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart with tracks like Kool-Aid, Throne, Matra, Drown, Shadow Moses, and Parasite Eve. Their current tour, which is already underway, includes eight additional Canadian dates spanning from Vancouver on September 20 to London, Ontario, on October 6.
This tour marks the first time in nearly 15 years that the Grammy-nominated band has toured in this direction, partly in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their debut album Count Your Blessings. The tour segment is titled POST HUMAN: NeX GEn – The Third Ascension Program, a nod for dedicated fans seeking elaborate tattoo inspiration.
Setlist and Opening Acts
Opening the show will be Scranton-formed horror-influenced goth metal band Motionless in White and Ohio metalcore act The Plot in You. During recent performances, singer Oli Sykes, who recently became a father of twins, and the band have debuted songs like Youtopia live for the first time in Hollywood and brought back The House of Wolves to their setlist.
