The festive season is illuminating Metro Vancouver once again, and The Vancouver Sun and Province have launched their annual initiative to map the most spectacular Christmas light displays across the region for 2025.
Calling All Holiday Decorators
The publications are actively seeking submissions from residents to help compile a comprehensive, interactive guide. This annual project aims to showcase the creativity and holiday spirit of communities from Vancouver to Abbotsford. The drive home becomes a radiant journey thanks to the hundreds of homes that transform into dazzling winter wonderlands.
How to Submit Your Display
Homeowners who have decorated their properties are encouraged to contribute to the growing list. There are two simple methods to submit a display for consideration. The first is by using a dedicated online form provided by the organizers. The second option is to send an email to vanweb@postmedia.com with the property address, a brief description of the display, and a photograph.
An Evolving Guide Until Christmas
The Christmas lights list and map will be a dynamic resource, with new submissions being added regularly as they are received. The organizers plan to continue updating the compilation right up until Christmas Day. Residents and visitors are advised to bookmark the page and check back frequently to discover new and dazzling additions in their neighbourhoods and beyond.
The project encompasses a wide area, seeking displays in numerous cities including Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Delta, Burnaby, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, Maple Ridge, Port Moody, Abbotsford, New Westminster, and Richmond.
