Vancouver Hosts Historic UFO Collection Auction from Chris Wyatt
Massive UFO collection lands at Vancouver auction

A remarkable piece of UFO history has touched down in Vancouver, where an extensive collection of extraterrestrial memorabilia will be auctioned to the public. The artifacts belonged to Chris Wyatt, a California-based film producer known for his documentaries on unidentified flying objects.

The Prized Roswell Yearbook

The centerpiece of this extraordinary collection is a 1947 Roswell Air Force Base yearbook from New Mexico. This particular item carries immense historical significance for UFO enthusiasts, as it originates from the very year and location where many believe an alien spacecraft crashed.

According to Wyatt, who spoke from southern California, military personnel attempted to cover up the incident by confiscating and destroying these yearbooks. "One of the gentlemen was on his deathbed," Wyatt recounted. "He pulled me aside and said, 'Listen, when the crash happened, one of the first things they did at Roswell Air Force Base was to confiscate all the yearbooks.'"

The dying officer had preserved a duplicate copy and entrusted it to Wyatt in 1997, stating, "You're the guy to take this public." The yearbook features unusual content for a military publication, including a full-page photograph of a nuclear detonation with the caption "A Bombs Away."

Additional Collection Highlights

Beyond the famous yearbook, the collection includes numerous other significant items:

  • Filmed interviews conducted for UFO documentaries
  • A comprehensive binder filled with UFO photographs from around the world
  • Photocopied documents from U.S. government agencies including the FBI and National Security Agency
  • Materials collected by Lt.-Col. Wendelle Stevens, a retired air force officer who dedicated his life to UFO research

Wyatt produced several notable documentaries including "UFOs: Above and Beyond" in 1997 and "Close Encounters: Proof of Alien Contact" in 2000. He originally visited Roswell as a guest of former government physicist Bob Lazar and film director Roland Emmerich of "Independence Day" fame.

Vancouver Auction Details

The entire collection will be sold through Jeff Schwarz's Direct Liquidation warehouse located in East Vancouver. For believers in the Roswell UFO incident, Wyatt's copy of the yearbook represents an invaluable artifact, with possibly only one other copy existing at the Walker Aviation Museum in Roswell.

This auction presents a rare opportunity for collectors and UFO enthusiasts to acquire pieces of American extraterrestrial folklore that have never before been available to the public. The arrival of this collection in Vancouver has created significant excitement within the community of those who continue to search for evidence that we are not alone in the universe.
