Savannah Guthrie Shares Heartbreaking Video Amid Search for Missing Mother Nancy
Savannah Guthrie Shares Video as Mother Nancy Search Continues

Savannah Guthrie, the host of the Today show, has shared a poignant home video of her mother, Nancy, as the search for the missing woman continues into its 12th day. The decades-old footage, posted on social media, shows Nancy playing with her daughters, Annie and Savannah, before transitioning to an old family portrait that includes her son Camron.

Emotional Appeal and Ongoing Investigation

In her post on Thursday, Savannah wrote, "Our lovely mom. We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope," accompanied by the song "May You Find a Light" by The Brilliance. This emotional appeal comes amid an intensive FBI investigation into Nancy's disappearance, which began on January 31.

Key Discovery in the Catalina Foothills

On Wednesday, FBI agents discovered a black glove while combing the Catalina Foothills area in Arizona, approximately one and a half miles from Nancy's home. This discovery follows the release of surveillance footage from her doorbell camera, which shows a masked, gloved, and armed person of interest tampering with the device. Authorities have not confirmed if the glove is linked to the suspect in the footage.

Surge in Tips and Lack of Suspects

Since Nancy's disappearance, authorities have received about 18,000 tips, with a significant increase after the doorbell camera footage was made public. Despite this influx of information, no suspects have been named in the nearly two weeks since she went missing. In a related incident, police detained a delivery driver during a traffic stop on Tuesday, but he was questioned and released after several hours, stating, "I hope they get the suspect, because I'm not it."

Family's Hope and Public Support

The Guthrie family remains hopeful, with Savannah's video serving as a rallying cry for continued public support and prayers. The investigation is ongoing, with FBI agents and local authorities diligently following leads in the search for Nancy.
