Police in Salem, New Hampshire are asking the public for help identifying a purse theft suspect who they say looks remarkably like Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The Salem Police Department released surveillance images of the suspect, showing a man with a similar build, hairstyle, and beard to the three-time Super Bowl champion.

Incident Details

The theft occurred on June 22 at a local business, according to police. The suspect allegedly stole a purse from a shopping cart while the victim was distracted. Surveillance footage captured the suspect leaving the scene in a vehicle. Police have not disclosed the value of the stolen items but confirmed the investigation is ongoing.

Public Appeal

“Are we sure this isn’t Travis [Kelce]?” the department joked in a social media post, though they clarified the suspect is not the NFL star. Kelce, 36, is currently preparing for the upcoming season with the Chiefs. The police urged anyone with information to contact the Salem Police Department.
