In a surprising crossover of lifestyle and sports, homemaking mogul Martha Stewart is teaming up with rapper Snoop Dogg once again, this time as a co-owner of a British football club. The 84-year-old Stewart has officially joined as a minority owner of Swansea City AFC, the Welsh club confirmed in a Christmas update on its website.
A New Joint Venture for Celebrity Duo
The business partnership between Stewart and Snoop Dogg, which famously began with their television show Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party in 2016, is now expanding into the world of sports. Snoop Dogg initially joined Swansea City as a co-owner and investor in July of this year. Stewart's investment was announced on December 23, 2025, though the financial terms of her deal were not disclosed.
The announcement came just days after Stewart watched Swansea City play in person. On Friday, December 19, she witnessed the club secure a 2-1 victory over Wrexham AFC, the team co-owned by Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds and American actor Rob McElhenney.
Club Leadership Welcomes a Lifestyle Icon
In the official statement, fellow Swansea City owners Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen expressed their enthusiasm for Stewart's involvement. They highlighted her status as "America’s leading homemaking and lifestyle expert" and noted that her experience at the recent match had only heightened her excitement about joining the club's ownership group.
Stewart joins Snoop Dogg and Croatian football star Luka Modrić as a minority investor in the club. As of the announcement, Swansea City sits in 19th place in the EFL Championship, England's second division, with 26 points. They are currently seven points clear of the relegation zone. Their rivals, Wrexham, are four spots ahead with 28 points.
From Potlucks to the Pitch
This football investment is the latest in a series of collaborative business ventures for Stewart and Snoop Dogg. Their unlikely friendship, which captivated audiences on their VH1 show, has since led to joint projects including other television programs, marketing campaigns, and even co-branded ice cream and gin products.
Swansea City, which enjoyed a seven-season stint in the Premier League ending in 2018, is now focused on climbing the Championship table. The club's new celebrity backing adds a unique layer of star power to its operations as it aims for future promotion.
