John Stamos recently disclosed that Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon repaired his unsatisfactory nose job. The revelation came during an appearance on The Really Good Podcast with host Bobbi Althoff.
Stamos on Cosmetic Procedures
The 62-year-old actor, known for his role in Full House, stated he has never had a facelift and has no plans for one. However, he admitted to using Botox and undergoing rhinoplasty to fix a previous surgeon's work.
Stamos explained that he originally broke his nose as a child when hit by a golf club. While working on General Hospital, he decided to have surgery because he disliked the appearance. Unfortunately, the result was not satisfactory.
He then sought help from Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon. Jackson, who passed away in 2009, publicly acknowledged only three cosmetic surgeries: two nose jobs and a chin implant.
Jackson's Surgical History
In a 1993 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Jackson said he was never happy with his reflection and confirmed the procedures in his autobiography Moonwalk. He denied rumors of additional work, stating he could count his surgeries on two fingers.
The 2026 biopic Michael depicts Jackson receiving his first nose job after his father called him “Big Nose.”
Stamos's Memoir and Nickname
Stamos previously discussed his botched surgery in his 2023 memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. He recalled being called “Big Nose Stamos” as a child and scheduling a nose job during a hiatus from General Hospital.
He admitted vanity was the motive but was unhappy with the result, describing his nose as “pushed up like Peter Pan.” On his next hiatus, he had it redone by Jackson's surgeon, joking that the doctor was the best person to reshape his nose.
