Stephen Colbert Admits Michelle Williams Left Him Speechless with Her Beauty
Colbert: Michelle Williams So Beautiful I Couldn't Look at Her

Stephen Colbert was struck by one of his guest's beauty — and doesn't want to wait for our lives to be over before revealing it. The host of the 'Late Show' reunited with fellow late-night hosts Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and John Oliver for an episode of their 'Strike Force Five' podcast that was released Wednesday, and Kimmel asked Colbert a pretty spicy question.

The Distracting Beauty Question

'Has there been a guest who was so attractive that you found it distracting?' Colbert didn't hesitate at all before giving his answer.

Colbert's Immediate Admission

'I'll tell you who I did not expect to be wildly attracted to,' Colbert began. 'I didn't know what to do with myself. I like this person's work, but I never thought of them as like a bombshell.' He continued, 'I could not — I didn't know what to do with my eyeballs when Michelle Williams was on for the first time.'

Colbert went on to say the first time she sat across from him on his show, he immediately thought, 'Oh, fuck, what's wrong with my head? I cannot, I better not look directly at her for this entire interview.' 'There was something about her vibe, her face, everything! …She's so beautiful!'

Other Celebrity Crushes

Colbert also admitted to having a 'Rachel Weisz problem' but 'recovered.' 'When Rachel Weisz would be on 'The Daily Show' I would leave the building out of fear of saying something stupid to her,' Colbert said. He also admitted that Rebecca Ferguson was another guest he was attracted to because she's a 'great interview.' 'She brings game,' Colbert said of the 'Dune' star.

Heath Ledger's Love at First Sight

Colbert certainly wasn't the first to immediately swoon over Williams. Apparently the late Heath Ledger, who shares a child with Williams, was smitten with her right away as well. 'I remember him looking at her, and she looking up at him with these wide eyes,' Diana Ossana, the screenwriter of 'Brokeback Mountain' told Out magazine in 2015. Ossana added, 'She was almost startled by the attention he was giving her, but you could see it every day from thereon. For him it was truly love at first sight. He was so taken with her.'
