Colombian singer Shakira has unveiled the official song for the 2026 World Cup, titled “Dai Dai,” on Thursday, May 7. The 49-year-old artist shared a teaser video on Instagram from Brazil’s Maracana stadium, featuring Nigerian singer Burna Boy. The full track is set to be released on May 14.

In the Instagram footage, Shakira appears alongside a group of dancers wearing the colors of several national teams participating in the tournament. The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The video also showcases official match balls from the 2006, 2010, and 2014 World Cups, referencing tournaments where Shakira played a prominent musical role.

The Latin pop star previously performed the official song for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” She also performed her hits “Hips Don’t Lie” at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and “La La La (Brazil 2014)” during the 2014 tournament in Brazil.
