Anne Hathaway has another starring role on the way: Mom of three. The 43-year-old actress, known for her role in The Devil Wears Prada 2, announced on Friday that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.

Instagram Announcement

In a video shared on Instagram, Hathaway appeared in a flowing white dress before revealing her growing baby bump as Barbara Lewis’ “Baby I’m Yours” played in the background. “x Baby, I’m yours x,” she captioned the post.

The new arrival will be Hathaway and Shulman’s third child together. The couple, who married in 2012, are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. They have not yet revealed the baby’s sex or name, according to Harper’s Bazaar.

Packed Film Slate

The pregnancy announcement caps off a busy stretch for Hathaway, both professionally and personally. Earlier this year, she was featured as the cover star of People magazine’s annual ‘Most Beautiful’ issue. The Oscar-winning Les Miserables actress also has a packed 2026 film slate ahead.

Among her upcoming projects is The Odyssey, a highly anticipated reunion with filmmaker Christopher Nolan, set for release next month. She is also set to appear alongside Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson in the film adaptation of Verity later this year.

Revisiting One of Her Most Beloved Roles

Hathaway recently returned for The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside original cast members Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt.

Despite juggling a growing family and a demanding career, Hathaway has credited Shulman with helping her balance it all. Speaking to People in her ‘Most Beautiful’ profile, she described her husband as her “dream partner.”

“I’m so lucky that he’s my partner that I spend my life with,” Hathaway said. “… It’s one thing to have dreams. It’s another thing to have somebody who helps you achieve them. I absolutely would not be able to have achieved what I’ve done without my husband.”

Just last month, Hathaway also shared a rare glimpse into family life in an interview with Elle magazine. The actress said she and her two sons are currently in “this really fun zone where we all love hanging out together,” adding that she knows that stage may not last forever.
