Bitget Partners with Google Developer Group at ETH Zurich to Foster Web3 & AI Talent
Bitget, Google Developer Group ETH Zurich Partner on Web3 Education

The global cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has forged a significant annual partnership with the Google Developer Group on Campus (GDGoC) at ETH Zurich. Announced on December 19, 2025, this collaboration is designed to accelerate the development of Web3 and artificial intelligence (AI) skills among the university's student body.

Bridging Academia and Industry in Web3

This initiative falls under Bitget's broader Blockchain4Youth educational program. The partnership will see Bitget actively co-organizing and supporting a series of GDG events throughout the coming year. These activities are set to include hands-on hackathons, in-depth workshops, and expert panel discussions, all aimed at providing practical, real-world experience beyond academic theory.

The Google Developer Group on Campus at ETH Zurich is a student-driven tech community within one of the world's leading science and technology institutions. With over 1,260 clubs globally, the GDG network focuses on bringing together developers, designers, and researchers through talks, study sessions, and community events.

Empowering the Next Generation of Builders

Through this collaboration, Bitget will share its market expertise in the blockchain sector, offering students unique insights into algorithmic trading and blockchain infrastructure. A key component of the partnership is the opportunity for participants to enter Bitget's Graduate Program, granting them direct, hands-on experience in the cryptocurrency and Web3 industry.

Ignacio Aguirre, Chief Marketing Officer of Bitget, emphasized the company's commitment: "We are really proud of the work we have accomplished so far... The goal is to make a tangible difference, not just by sharing our expertise, but also by actively helping to meet and nurture the builders of tomorrow." He highlighted that education is essential for navigating the dynamic Web3 market.

A Foundation for Future Innovation

This year-long partnership builds on a successful relationship established earlier in 2025. Bitget has already sponsored several GDG events, including the 'Build with AI' Hackathon at Constructor University in May, the 'AI accelerate Hack' at KU Leuven in Belgium in October, and the Devfest at Google's Brussels offices in late November.

Dario Monopoli, Lead of GDG on Campus Zurich, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are super excited to team up with Bitget. For our students in Zurich, this partnership isn’t just about sponsorship, it’s about getting real-world insights."

Looking ahead, the partnership plans to host additional events, such as collaborative hackathons with other tech communities and special meetups featuring industry experts. Bitget's objective is to actively contribute to the growth of the global Web3 community by empowering students with the knowledge and skills to leverage blockchain technology's vast potential.
