Toronto Subway Lines 2 and 4 Completely Shut Down

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced a complete shutdown of subway Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and Line 4 (Sheppard) due to technical problems. The disruption, which began early this morning, has left thousands of commuters stranded and seeking alternative transportation.

According to TTC officials, the shutdown was necessary to address urgent technical issues that could compromise safety. Replacement shuttle buses have been deployed, but delays are expected throughout the day. Commuters are advised to use other transit options, including GO Transit and surface routes, where possible.

This is a developing story. More details will be provided as they become available.
