Driver Charged for 163 km/h in Construction Zone on Hwy 69

Ontario Provincial Police say officers stopped a vehicle travelling 163 km/h in a construction zone in an 80 km/h zone of Highway 69 south of Greater Sudbury.

The driver was charged with stunt driving and speeding. The vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the driver's licence suspended for 30 days.

OPP remind drivers to obey speed limits, especially in construction zones where workers are present.
