Truro Police are investigating an unusual robbery after a man armed with a pitchfork allegedly stole cigarettes from a convenience store. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning at a convenience store on Prince Street.

Police say the suspect entered the store around 10:30 a.m., brandishing a pitchfork. He demanded cigarettes from the clerk before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported, and the suspect is believed to have left on foot.
Officers responded quickly but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, and police are reviewing surveillance footage.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans at the time of the robbery.
