West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd., a prominent player in the mining sector, has announced significant progress in its ongoing efforts to de-risk the Fork Satellite Deposit through a successful infill drilling campaign. Located approximately 250 meters southwest of the Madsen Mine in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada, the Fork Deposit is a 100% owned asset of the company, traded under TSXV: WRLG and OTCQB: WRLGF.

Drilling Highlights and Key Findings

The infill drilling program, conducted between 2025 and 2026, has yielded highly encouraging results, with multiple high-grade gold intercepts reported. Notable among these is hole WRL26-047, which intersected 1 meter at 41.25 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, including a 0.5-meter section assaying 77.8 g/t Au. This intercept was complemented by visible gold associated with quartz veining and pyrite plus pyrrhotite mineralization, as illustrated in Figure 1.

Additional Significant Intercepts

Other key drill holes further underscore the deposit's potential. Hole WRL25-037 returned 4.5 meters at 5.8 g/t Au, with included intervals of 1 meter at 7.68 g/t Au and 2.5 meters at 6.97 g/t Au. Similarly, hole WRL25-036 intersected 3.3 meters at 4.22 g/t Au, featuring visible gold linked to quartz-diopside veining, as shown in Figure 2.

These results are part of a broader dataset from the drilling program, which includes numerous intercepts exceeding 1 g/t Au, as detailed in Table 1. The findings provide robust evidence of gold grade continuity and vein consistency, which are critical factors for efficient mine planning and future extraction scenarios.

Shane Williams, President and CEO of West Red Lake Gold, emphasized the importance of this infill drilling success. He stated, "Successful completion of the infill drilling program at Fork was an important step in de-risking this resource area ahead of a construction decision. The results are very encouraging and further support the gold grade and vein continuity at Fork, which will be necessary for efficient mine planning and any future extraction scenario."

Williams added that the engineering team at the Madsen Mine is already engaged in preliminary mine design for this satellite area. The Fork Deposit represents a non-remnant, near-surface opportunity situated just 250 meters from existing underground infrastructure, enhancing its appeal for potential development.

Technical Details and Mineralization

The drilling utilized NQ (47.6 mm) diameter drill cores, with assays confirming the presence of high-grade gold mineralization. Visible gold occurrences were spatially associated with quartz veining and sulfide minerals like pyrite and pyrrhotite, indicating favorable geological conditions for gold deposition.

Table 1 summarizes all significant intercepts from the 2025-2026 drilling campaign, highlighting the consistency and richness of the gold mineralization across multiple drill holes. This data will be instrumental in updating resource estimates and advancing the project toward a construction decision.
