Globex Reports High-Grade Antimony at Bald Hill, Drilling Starts at Lac Escale
Globex: High-Grade Antimony at Bald Hill, Drilling at Lac Escale

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. has reported high-grade antimony results from the Bald Hill property in New Brunswick, where partner Antimony Resources Corp. is conducting an 18,000-metre drill program. Additionally, Brunswick Exploration Inc. has commenced a 4,000-metre summer drilling program on the Mirage Lithium project (Lac Escale property), on which Globex holds a 3% gross metal royalty (GMR).

High-Grade Antimony Intersections at Bald Hill

Antimony Resources announced assays from four drill holes targeting the Main Antimony Zone. Drill hole BH-26-20 returned 13.14% antimony (Sb) over 2.45 metres, while BH-26-25 yielded 16.65% Sb over 5.05 metres, including 33.40% Sb over 1.10 metres. The mineralized zones average approximately 4.5 metres in thickness, with hole BH-26-27 intersecting a 15.9-metre zone. All holes encountered stibnite mineralization at depths of 100 to 150 metres, with one zone at 260 metres. Multiple mineralized zones were intersected, such as BHW-26-25 which encountered three zones over a 44-metre drill length.

Drilling Program Details

The current program aims to expand mineralization in the Main Zone and explore new zones identified on the property. The Bald Hill property is under option from Globex to Antimony Resources.

Brunswick Exploration Commences Drilling at Mirage

Brunswick Exploration’s summer program will initially target lateral extensions of the MR-1 and MR-4 dykes, the richest dykes at the Mirage project. The MR-1 dyke, in the northern part of the deposit, is defined over 400 metres strike length and remains open in all directions; it previously returned 2.57% Li2O over 25.8 metres in hole MR-23-02. The MR-4 dyke, in the southern part, is defined over 600 metres strike length and remains open, with high-grade results including 2.75% Li2O over 16.2 metres in hole MR-23-14. Drilling will then test untested spodumene pegmatite outcrops north of Escale Lake and other high-potential targets along the 8-km-long lithium-bearing corridor, which contains over 350 spodumene pegmatite boulders and spodumene in till samples. A helicopter-borne drill rig will be used over approximately two months.

Resource Potential

The Mirage (Lac Escale) project has an inferred mineral resource estimate of 52.2 million tonnes grading 1.08% Li2O, with significant expansion potential.
