Fury Gold Mines Reports High-Grade Gold at Eau Claire, Starts Phase 2

Fury Gold Mines Limited has released initial results from its Phase 1 exploration drill program at the Eau Claire Gold project, located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory within the James Bay Region of Northern Quebec. The company, trading on the TSX and NYSE American under the symbol FURY, reported a key highlight from infill drilling, with hole 26EC-099 intercepting 11.74 grams per tonne gold over 6.63 metres.

Phase 1 Drilling Achievements and Highlights

The Phase 1 program, which comprised approximately 13,000 metres of drilling, focused on expanding resources along high-grade shoots and enhancing continuity outside of previously identified stopes. To date, 21 holes totaling around 12,700 metres have been completed, with assay results received for 5,550 metres. Complete results are available for 11 holes, along with partial data from a 12th hole.

Seven holes returned significant results, as detailed in the company's reports. The standout intercept from hole 26EC-099 targeted an inferred portion of the resource, located approximately 40 metres down plunge from earlier drilling. Additionally, a second hole, 26EC-101, has been completed a further 40 metres down plunge outside the existing resource envelope, with results pending.

CEO Comments on Resource Continuity and Growth Potential

Tim Clark, CEO of Fury Gold Mines, emphasized the program's success in reinforcing resource continuity. "Drilling at Eau Claire continues to confirm that mineralization remains well-developed and predictable within the deposit," he stated. Clark highlighted the potential to grow the deposit in shallow, previously untested areas, particularly in the Gap Zone between resource blocks, aiming to de-risk and expand the project for shareholder value.

Phase 2 Drilling Campaign Underway

Building on the Phase 1 results, Fury Gold Mines has commenced a Phase 2 drill campaign at Eau Claire. This phase is designed to convert inferred portions of the resource and extend the indicated resource category. The fully financed program is anticipated to involve an additional 15,000 to 25,000 metres of drilling, scheduled to continue through the spring and summer of 2026.

Sampling and Assaying Protocols

Analytical samples from the drill program were collected by sawing HQ diameter core into equal halves on site. One half was sent to ALS Chemex in Val D'Or, Quebec, for preparation and analysis. Samples underwent assay using a 50-gram nominal weight fire with atomic absorption finish, with re-assays for results exceeding 10 ppm using gravimetric methods. Quality assurance and quality control programs, including internal standards and duplicates, indicated good accuracy and precision.

The ongoing drilling efforts at Eau Claire underscore Fury Gold Mines' commitment to resource expansion and development in a promising gold mining region, with Phase 2 expected to further delineate the deposit's potential.
