Brixton Metals Reports Exceptional Silver Grades at Langis Project in 2026 Drill Program
Brixton Metals Drills High-Grade Silver at Langis Project

Brixton Metals Announces Outstanding Silver Drill Results at Langis Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Brixton Metals Corporation has released the first assay results from its 2026 exploration drilling campaign at the wholly owned Langis Silver Project, located approximately 500 kilometers north of Toronto. The company reported exceptionally high-grade silver intercepts, highlighting the project's significant potential for resource expansion and development.

Exceptional Drill Intercepts Demonstrate High-Grade Mineralization

The 2026 drill program has yielded remarkable results, with two holes standing out for their exceptional silver grades. Hole LM-26-296 intersected 14.35 meters of 708.7 grams per tonne silver from a depth of 116.00 meters, including an ultra-high-grade zone of 0.5 meters averaging 15,522 g/t silver from 118.00 meters depth. Meanwhile, Hole LM-26-301 returned 14.45 meters of 721.4 g/t silver from 109.55 meters depth, featuring 1.75 meters of 5,791 g/t silver from 114.50 meters depth.

These results represent some of the highest-grade silver intercepts reported from the Langis Project to date and demonstrate the continuity of mineralization within the target area. The drill collars for these two holes are located approximately 40 meters apart, providing strong evidence for the consistency of silver mineralization in this sector of the property.

2026 Exploration Program Advances Langis Project Development

The 2026 drill campaign represents a significant milestone for the Langis Project, with the program focused on both expansion and infill drilling of established high-grade silver zones while evaluating new mineralized areas along key structural trends. To date in 2026, approximately 6,226 meters have been completed across 32 drill holes, with assay results from 9 holes now reported.

The Langis mine site benefits from excellent infrastructure, including all-season road access, power, rail connections, and proximity to a refiner. The property was previously a producing silver mine, adding to its appeal as a development opportunity with established mineralization.

Company Leadership Expresses Optimism About Project Potential

Gary R. Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, stated, "We are delighted to report the first batch of drill results from the Langis 2026 drill program. Langis continues to deliver strong silver grades at shallow depths and silver mineralization remains open in multiple directions."

Thompson further explained the company's ongoing exploration strategy: "Drilling continues in the Shaft 6 area with the goal of developing new mineralized trends away from the underground workings. In addition, Brixton plans to evaluate and quantify silver in its tailings on private patents at Langis. Samples collected by the previous owners returned between 1.5 and 4.0 opt silver from these tailings. Sonic grid drilling and metallurgical work is planned as soon as spring arrives."

Geological Context and Mineralization Characteristics

The initial drill holes for the 2026 season were positioned to evaluate silver mineralization south of the Shaft 6 area. Previous exploration campaigns in this region identified silver predominantly hosted within vertical, dilatant zones and shear veins, manifesting as native silver.

Geological analysis reveals interesting variations in mineral association between the two highlight holes. Silver mineralization in hole LM-26-296 is hosted by sulfosalts, with associated cobalt and nickel arsenide minerals observed. In contrast, silver mineralization in hole LM-26-301 occurs primarily as visible native silver. These variations may reflect different stages of mineralization or localized remobilization of silver within the system.

Multiple drill holes beyond those highlighted have yielded significant silver mineralization, with detailed results presented in the company's technical tables. The ongoing drilling in the Langis Shaft 6 area continues to focus on expanding and infilling known silver mineralization while exploring for new mineralized trends.

The company's exploration program at Langis represents a comprehensive approach to advancing the project toward potential development, combining high-grade drilling results with systematic evaluation of the property's full mineral potential.
