Global Uranium Starts ANT Survey at Astro Project

CALGARY, Alberta, June 26, 2026 — Global Uranium Corp. (CSE: GURN | OTC: GURFF | FRA: Q3J) has announced the start of an Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey at the Astro Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The company holds an option to acquire up to an 80% interest in the project from Cosa Resources Corp., the underlying owner and operator, subject to earn-in requirements. The ANT survey follows the completion of Phase 1 earn-in obligations under the option agreement.

Survey Targets Conductive Corridor Identified in 2025

The ANT survey is the next step in exploration after a 2025 airborne geophysical program defined a significant east-northeast trending conductive corridor across the project, spanning approximately 25 kilometres. This corridor is considered a key exploration target in the Athabasca Basin, often associated with structural settings hosting uranium deposits. The survey will focus on the AS-1 target area, which covers a major portion of this corridor.

CAUR Technologies of Quebec, Canada, is conducting the survey, deploying 300 seismic sensors. The work is expected to take about two months to complete. The survey aims to deliver high-resolution shear wave velocity models to help delineate lithological contrasts, structural features, and alteration zones within the lower Athabasca sandstone and upper basement rocks.

Results to Guide Future Drilling

The results will assist Global and Cosa in identifying and prioritizing the most prospective areas for additional exploration, including potential ground electromagnetic surveys and future diamond drill targeting. Ungad Chadda, CEO of Global, stated, “We are pleased to see the next phase of work now underway at Astro. This survey is an important step in helping us narrow our focus across a large and highly prospective target area in the Athabasca Basin. Our goal is to keep advancing Astro in a disciplined way, using the right technical work at each stage to build toward future drill targets.”
