AtkinsRéalis Secures Major UK Infrastructure Framework

AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. (TSX: ATRL) has been selected as a supplier on a major UK government framework to support the design, delivery, and optimization of major infrastructure and building programs across the built environment, defence, and nuclear sectors over the next four years. The framework, managed by the UK Government Commercial Agency (GCA), is valued at £3.5 billion and provides a direct route for central government departments and public sector bodies to access multidisciplinary services.

Framework Details and Value

The Construction Professional Services 2 framework covers the full lifecycle of public sector projects. AtkinsRéalis has been appointed to seven lots, including general infrastructure, project management, defence, nuclear, and flood risk management. The company estimates its potential share of the work at approximately £340 million, reflecting its strong position in the UK market.

Scope of Work and Sectors

AtkinsRéalis will provide integrated solutions through multi-disciplinary services in engineering, design, advisory, and program management. The appointments include Lot 1 (General Infrastructure and Built Environment), Lot 3 (Project Management), Lot 5 (Defence), Lot 8 (Nuclear), and Lots 9a, 9b, and 9c (Flood Risk and Asset Management). The work will support the UK’s defence estate, national security priorities, and nuclear decommissioning programs.

The latest appointment follows AtkinsRéalis’ inclusion on three Crown Commercial Service (now GCA) frameworks covering various services. The company has worked closely with the UK government estate for many years, including programs for the Government Property Agency. In the nuclear sector, AtkinsRéalis has over 25 years of experience, contributing to major projects such as Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C.
