Toronto Trio Charged After Scarborough Drug and Gun Bust

Three men from Toronto are facing firearm and drug charges following a police search in Scarborough this week. Toronto Police officers from the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant on Tuesday at approximately 7:20 p.m. in the area of Danforth Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

During the search, investigators located and seized a 9 mm handgun loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition, as well as oxycodone pills. Three men were arrested at the scene.

Elvis Cadoo, 29, Karim Cadoo, 30, and Aiden Cadoo, 22, are each charged with possession of an unloaded regulated firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a firearm without a licence, and drug possession. Additionally, Aiden Cadoo faces charges of failing to comply with a probation order and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

Toronto Man Accused of GTA Bank Robberies

A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with the robbery of four banks across the Greater Toronto Area. York Regional Police report that the suspect was out on two release orders for unrelated offences at the time of the alleged robberies.

Police responded on March 9 at approximately 11:40 a.m. to an attempted robbery at a Markham bank near Highway 7 and Birchmount Road. Officers learned that a male suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, indicating a robbery, but fled on foot empty-handed.

Following an investigation, the suspect was identified and linked to additional bank robberies in Toronto and Mississauga. On Thursday, a search warrant was executed at a Toronto residence, leading to the arrest of Muhammad Adbullah Anwar of Toronto. He is charged with four counts each of robbery and disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of failing to comply with a judicial release order, operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, and driving while suspended.

Youth Assaulted in Vaughan, Suspect Sought

Investigators in York Region are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect after a youth was assaulted. York Regional Police responded to a report of an assault shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Tami Court and Bathurst Street.

The youth, who was walking on a forested pathway connecting Lady Nadia Drive and Rivermill Crescent, was assaulted by an unknown male suspect but was not physically injured. The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound in the Lady Nadia area.

The suspect is described as a 30- to 40-year-old male, last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, a grey and blue jacket, running shoes, and a black medical mask. Two Wanted in Oakville Robbery

Halton Regional Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects involved in an Oakville robbery on Wednesday morning. At approximately 9:40 a.m., two males entered Brother Deals on Wheels on Wyecroft Road and confronted three males inside, demanding valuables.

The suspects obtained jewelry and two cellphones before fleeing in a black Acura RDX, which was later determined to be stolen in Toronto. One suspect was in possession of a handgun, while the other brandished a machete. The victims did not sustain physical injuries.

The first suspect is described as a Black male with a medium to heavy build, wearing a dark-coloured zippered hooded jacket over a tan hoodie, black cargo-style pants, black athletic sneakers, gloves, and a black face covering. He also carried a small black satchel and held a gun. The second suspect is described as a male with a slender to medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, black and white patterned shoes, a red face covering, and holding a machete.
