Philips Sonicare Toothbrush Half Off: Lowest Price of Year

Not all electric toothbrushes are created equal, and when one stands head and shoulders above the rest, its price tag will also probably be pretty steep. That is why we were so excited to discover a major 50% discount on the elite Philips Sonicare ExpertClean 7300 rechargeable electric toothbrush. One reviewer who swears by it says, “Every time I use it, I feel like I just left the dentist’s office.” And better yet, it is the lowest price it has been all year — and weeks ahead of Prime Day, at that!

Even after the major discount, the $100 sale price could still feel steep, but so many reviewers mention that it is “worth every penny.”

Unmatched Cleaning Performance

According to Philips, this toothbrush helps with 2000% more plaque removal and up to 600% healthier gums compared to using a manual toothbrush. That is a huge marketing claim, but reviewers can at least say it leaves you feeling like you just left the dentist.

“I feel like I got a dental cleaning every time I use it and my gums just feel better,” says one reviewer. “Great product!”

“The main thing is how well does it clean your teeth,” says one user who compares it against their old Oral-B. “For me, the difference between the Oral-B and Sonicare was night and day. It wasn’t like, ‘I think my teeth might feel a little cleaner....’ It was like, ‘WOW! My teeth are a heck of a lot cleaner feeling!’ And that’s the point of a toothbrush right?”

Customizable Brushing Experience

The toothbrush has 12 brushing settings, so you can personalize your brushing routine to your specific needs. The included pressure sensor also lets you know when you are brushing too hard, so you can avoid damaging your gums or teeth. And if you want more in-depth data about your brushing, just connect to the free app to read your progress report and track your stats. It will also show you the areas you have been missing when brushing. And maybe best of all, this lasts up to 21 days on a single charge!

What Reviewers Are Saying

A better toothbrush can make a world of difference in your oral hygiene, and this one deserves your attention. Below, check out some more promising reviews for the Philips Sonicare ExpertClean 7300, which is impressive enough at its full price — and an absolute steal right now.

“Bought the Sonicare 7300 to replace an Oral-B electric toothbrush. What a difference. The 'sonic' movement of the Philips feels entirely different than the rotary motion of the Oral-B...the sensation felt like my teeth were going to explode. I got used to this sensation quickly. The Sonicare cleans my teeth much better than the Oral-B. After brushing with the Sonicare, my teeth feel like I’ve had a cleaning at the dentist and that feeling lasts all day or night. For me, the Sonicare cleans much, much better than the Oral-B (Using the A3 Premium head). One thing I didn’t like about the Oral-B was the brush head surface felt too small and it was thick from the bristles to the back of the brush. This made it difficult to get to my molars. The Sonicare head shape is larger, more like a manual brush head and the profile is thinner which makes it easier to reach my back teeth. I’m not going to compare features between the two as that is easy to do online or watch YT reviews. There is a Philips Sonicare App available that tracks brushings, flossing, tongue cleaning and mouthwash use. It also has a timing 'guide' for brushing your teeth in the different modes. You must have the App running near the toothbrush for it to collect data. You can also import the data into the Apple Health App if desired. The App isn’t life changing, but may help those with poor brushing habits. The main thing is how well does it clean your teeth. For me the difference between the Oral-B and Sonicare was night and day different. It wasn’t like, 'I think my teeth might feel a little cleaner...'. It was like, 'WOW! My teeth are a heck of a lot cleaner feeling!' And that’s the point of a toothbrush right?” — WBG2

“I got one for my wife and another for myself. Was never an electric toothbrush kind of person, but we will never go back. I feel like I got a dental cleaning every time I use it and my gums just feel better. Great product! Low vibration, the motor is loud but I don’t think it is annoying, kind of necessary. Charges fast and holds a charge for a long time.” — Michael G.

“I’ve been using the Sonicare toothbrush since 2000 maybe a little earlier and I have to say of all the different models I have owned the 7300 is by far the best. Of course I’ve never been disappointed by any of the Sonicare toothbrushes I have owned in the past but I do have to say the 7300 is the first toothbrush to 'wow' me! I think it’s definitely worth investing in as this particular model has almost all the features of the upper end models and most importantly the brushing quality feels like a deep cleaning and gum stimulator…” — Amazon Customer

“I’ll be honest, my dentist has been suggesting I get an electric toothbrush, and I thought it was nuts. Like who’s too lazy that they can’t brush their own teeth? After years of skepticism, I finally got this one and I can’t tell you how much I love it. Honestly, every time I use it I feel like I just left the dentist office. I also love the travel case. Makes bringing it everywhere easy.” — NM Moon
