'I'm going to try to write a very in-depth review here to help demystify some of the quirks about hair removal and this device. I'll separate the sections and hopefully this will be helpful for many of you. First - the device itself: It works AMAZINGLY well if used correctly and I would say if you're hesitant on getting one of these units, stop hesitating and go for it right now. The results I'm seeing already are pretty dramatic and I'm very happy with the unit. It's very powerful, in fact I don't think you could use too much more power. On the highest setting, each blast is about as powerful as you could stand in sensitive areas and there's occasionally a burning hair smell. That's praising its power not knocking it. In most areas the highest setting is NOT uncomfortable. If I had to list any cons I would say the device does get quite hot to hold during longer sessions and the buttons are easy to accidentally press. It's also a little slow, the higher the setting the slower it goes with level 9 only bursting every 3.5 seconds. This combined with the small 3cm area it covers makes a session take pretty long. I have very long muscular legs which results in a lot of surface area. I actually measured the area and did the math and with zero overlap it takes about 1 full hour to cover one leg (at the 3.5 bursts per second) and you want a little overlap too so each leg ends up being about 1hr 15mins for me. So yes it is slow and hot but the results are definitely worth it and I still highly recommend it. Overall I'm extremely happy with the unit.
