As warm weather arrives in Windsor, the city's splash pads have officially opened for the season. These free outdoor water playgrounds feature jets, sprinklers, and interactive elements to help residents cool down.
On Friday, the city activated 10 splash pads across Windsor, just in time for a sunny weekend. The daytime high is expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius on Saturday, with rain possible. Sunday will bring clear skies and a high of 27 C, followed by 31 C on Monday, according to Environment Canada.
Operating Hours and Season
The splash pads operate daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting. They are activated by a push button and will remain open until Thanksgiving weekend in October. Washrooms are available at most locations during operating hours.
