An e-scooter rider was seriously injured in a crash in Red Deer on Wednesday evening, according to local police.

The collision occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of 32 Street and 50 Avenue. The e-scooter rider, an adult male, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
