The $879,000 grant will support upgrades to interactive exhibits, infrastructure improvements, and the development of new educational programs. The funding comes from the province's Community Facility Enhancement Program, which provides grants to non-profit organizations for capital projects.

"This investment will help TELUS Spark continue to inspire curiosity and learning in science and technology for visitors of all ages," said a government spokesperson. The centre attracts over 500,000 visitors annually and offers hands-on exhibits, a digital immersion dome, and educational workshops.

Impact on Community

According to TELUS Spark officials, the funding will allow the centre to refresh aging exhibits and introduce new interactive experiences.
