Motorcyclist Killed in Vaughan Collision
A motorcyclist has died following a collision on Dufferin Street near Highway 407 in Vaughan. York Regional Police reported the incident early Tuesday morning, prompting a closure of Dufferin Street in both directions between Major Mackenzie Drive and Rutherford Road.
Police stated the crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. and involved a single motorcycle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, and the road closure is expected to remain in effect until further notice.
Authorities are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit. This is the latest in a series of serious incidents on Vaughan roads this year.
