A pedestrian has died after being struck by a driver in a North York parking lot, Toronto police confirmed Tuesday.

The collision occurred on Monday evening in the area of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue. Emergency crews responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle in a commercial parking lot. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been laid at this time.
