New financial data confirms Canadians have a significant appetite for subscription-based adult content, with the nation emerging as the world's second-largest per-capita consumer of material on the platform OnlyFans in 2025.
Canada's Spending Habits Revealed
The OnlyFans Wrapped 2025 report, compiled by the search engine OnlyGuider, provides a detailed breakdown of global spending. It found that Canadians spent $88,711 per 10,000 residents on subscriptions and tips. This figure places Canada significantly ahead of the United States, where the equivalent spend was $77,334, and nearly on par with Australia's $88,601.
In total dollar terms, Canadian expenditure on the platform saw steady growth. In 2025, users spent a combined $354.8 million, marking an increase of $17.4 million from the $337.4 million recorded in 2024. This represents a year-over-year growth rate of 5.17%.
"Let's be honest — Canadians are horny and they're not shy about it," stated Sam Pierce, CEO of OnlyGuider. "They're spending nearly half a billion annually on adult content, and OnlyFans is their platform of choice. The numbers don't lie."
Global Rankings and Top-Spending Cities
Finland led the global per-capita ranking, with residents spending $127,423 per 10,000 people—a 19% jump from the previous year. Following Canada in second and Australia in third, the self-governing islands of Guernsey and the Isle of Man placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Within Canada, Vancouver stood out as the top-spending city, with a per-capita expenditure of $144,906. "Vancouver's per-capita spend shows it is one of the world's most engaged markets, even though its overall spending intensity is not as high as American megacities like L.A. or Chicago," Pierce noted.
While Toronto did not lead in per-capita spending, the sheer size of its user base meant residents collectively contributed nearly $32 million to the national total, more than any other Canadian city.
Steady Growth Amid Economic Pressures
The report highlights the platform's resilient growth in the Canadian market. The 5.17% increase in total spending occurred despite broader economic uncertainties, suggesting a sustained demand for the content offered by creators on OnlyFans.
The data underscores a significant shift in how adult entertainment is consumed and monetized in the digital age, with subscription models proving highly lucrative. The report's findings offer a clear snapshot of consumer behaviour, placing Canada among the most active markets worldwide for this type of digital content.
