Troilus Mining Corp. has announced additional drill results from the West Rim Zone as part of its 2026 Exploration Program at the Troilus Project in northcentral Quebec, Canada. The company reported intercepts of 19.06 g/t gold equivalent (AuEQ) over 6.4 meters and 6.81 g/t AuEQ over 5 meters, highlighting the expansion of high-grade mineralization near the surface.
Key Drill Intercepts
Hole WR-26-013 intersected 6.93 g/t AuEQ over 18.5 meters, including 19.06 g/t AuEQ over 6.4 meters, with a peak of 53.90 g/t AuEQ over 2 meters starting at just 11.5 meters downhole. Hole WR-26-014 returned 1.80 g/t AuEQ over 23.85 meters, including 6.81 g/t AuEQ over 5 meters starting at 19.25 meters downhole. Hole WR-26-015 intersected 1.58 g/t AuEQ over 13.5 meters, including 16.23 g/t AuEQ over 0.6 meters.
Significance of Results
The West Rim Zone, discovered in 2024, lies entirely outside the current mineral resource estimate and within 200 meters of the reserve pit outlined in the company's 2024 Feasibility Study. These intercepts compare favorably to high-grade near-surface intercepts in the current reserve pit areas and support both open pit and underground development scenarios.
CEO Commentary
Justin Reid, CEO of Troilus, stated that West Rim continues to deliver some of the strongest near-surface drill results at Troilus, immediately adjacent to planned reserve pits. He emphasized the consistency of high-grade mineralization across the trend and the potential for West Rim to become a meaningful near-mine zone. With only about half of the planned drilling completed, further expansion opportunities remain.
Technical Details
All grades are uncut, and true thicknesses are approximately 75% to 90% of drilled length. The completed NI 43-101 technical report for the Troilus Project Feasibility Study is available on SEDAR+ and the company's website.
