Monument Mining Limited (TSX-V: MMY and FSE: D7Q1) has announced the results of an additional twenty-three drill holes from the Buffalo Reef and Felda areas at the Selinsing Gold Mine in Pahang State, Malaysia. The high gold assay results underscore the potential for resource expansion beyond the current Life of Mine and Expanded Pit Shell.
Drill Program Highlights
The Stage 1 and Stage 2 drilling for the mine expansion program have been completed, totaling 123 holes for 17,136 meters, slightly exceeding the planned 118 holes for 17,477 meters. Further drilling programs are under review.
Stage 1 Results
Significant intercepts from Stage 1 drilling include:
- MBRDD622: 6.5m at 0.66 g/t Au from 148.9m, including 2.5m at 1.35 g/t Au
- MBRDD624: 3.8m at 3.77 g/t Au from 109.7m
- MBRDD625: 3.6m at 3.58 g/t Au from 136.9m
- MBRDD628: 6.2m at 1.4 g/t Au from 61.6m, with multiple higher-grade intervals
- MBRRC632: 15.5m at 2.61 g/t Au from 67.7m, including 6m at 5.62 g/t Au
- MBRDD641: 21.0m at 1.99 g/t Au from 42m, including 4.5m at 3.66 g/t Au
Stage 2 Results
Stage 2 drilling targeted mineralization extensions and returned notable intercepts:
- MBRDD626: 16.5m at 3.07 g/t Au from 64.1m
- MBRDD627: 10.1m at 4.68 g/t Au from 63.7m
- MBRDD631: 6.1m at 6.12 g/t Au from 44.2m
- MBRDD635: 8.1m at 1.27 g/t Au from 6.9m, with 3.0m at 7.53 g/t Au and other intervals
- MBRDD638: 19.8m at 1.90 g/t Au from 100.7m
- MBRDD639: 22.5m at 1.77 g/t Au from 58.5m
