Toronto Man Accused of Manufacturing ‘Ghost Guns’
A Toronto man is facing multiple charges after police dismantled an alleged ghost gun manufacturing operation, seizing several 3D-printed handguns. The investigation, dubbed ‘Project Cluster,’ was announced by Toronto Police on April 29, 2026.
According to authorities, the suspect used 3D printers to produce fully functional firearms that lacked serial numbers, making them untraceable. ‘These are fully functioning firearms,’ police stated, emphasizing the danger posed by such weapons.
The accused, whose identity has not been released, faces charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm and manufacturing weapons. The case highlights the growing challenge of ghost guns, which are increasingly used in crimes due to their difficulty to track.
Police urge anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
