DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) and Wilton Re have successfully completed one of the largest transformation programs in DXC's history, converting over 400,000 life and annuity policies from legacy systems onto DXC's advanced cloud-based insurance policy administration ecosystem. The migration, announced on July 9, 2026, from Ashburn, Virginia, establishes a unified platform for Wilton Re's growing portfolio and enables faster integration of future acquisitions.
Transformation Details and Scope
The program combined DXC's insurance Business Process Services (BPS) expertise, large-scale conversion capabilities, and operational support model with Wilton Re's risk management approach. Over 400,000 policies were migrated from prior DXC technologies onto DXC's Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA), a cloud-based policy administration platform. This effort represents one of the company's most complex transformations to date, according to DXC.
Wilton Re, a leading acquirer of life and annuity in-force blocks, has expanded its portfolio significantly over the past two decades. Each acquisition requires converting unique systems, data structures, and servicing processes without disrupting policyholder experience. By standardizing on wmA, Wilton Re expects to accelerate onboarding of new acquisitions and improve operational efficiency.
Foundation for AI and Operational Efficiency
The cloud conversion lays the groundwork for implementing future AI strategies. A common operating environment for acquired portfolios will enable faster integration and greater operational efficiency. DXC's Wealth Management Accelerator provides a unified platform that supports Wilton Re's growth objectives while maintaining service quality for policyholders.
Ray August, President of DXC Insurance Software and Business Process Services, stated: "Our 20-year partnership with Wilton Re reflects what long-term execution with excellence at scale looks like. This transformation helps Wilton Re grow its business, integrate acquisitions faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver a better experience for policyholders. Together, we have completed one of the largest and most operationally complex transformation programs in our history, creating a foundation that will help Wilton Re integrate future acquisitions faster, operate more efficiently, and continue growing with confidence."
Two-Decade Partnership and Growth
