Key Plays
Montreal took a 24-10 lead into halftime after a 35-yard touchdown pass from Fajardo to receiver Tyson Philpot. The Stampeders fought back in the third quarter, cutting the lead to 27-23 on a 12-yard touchdown run by running back Dedrick Mills.

Impact and Standings
The win keeps Montreal (5-1) atop the East Division, while Calgary (3-3) remains second in the West. The Alouettes have won four straight home games and are one of two teams still undefeated at home this season.
“We knew it would be a tough game against a good Calgary team,” said Alouettes head coach Jason Maas according to The Canadian Press. “Our guys stepped up when it mattered most and made the plays we needed to win.”
The Stampeders will look to bounce back next week when they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders, while Montreal travels to face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
