For the second consecutive year, the Bandits are champions of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), defeating the Clippers 4-3 in a thrilling overtime contest on Friday night. The victory marks a historic back-to-back title run for the franchise, solidifying their dominance in junior hockey.

The championship game was a nail-biter from start to finish. The Bandits jumped out to an early lead, but the Clippers fought back to tie the game late in the third period. In overtime, Brooks forward Jake Thompson scored the game-winner on a rebound, sending the Bandits bench into a frenzy. The goal capped a three-point night for Thompson, who was named playoff MVP.
