Fox Cameraman Bloodied But Blows Kiss After Hit

A Fox Sports camera operator named Dave got blasted and bloodied in a sideline collision Sunday during a United Football League game. Louisville Kings linebacker Jaheim Thomas ran into the operator from behind, driving him into a bench.

Fox Sports zoomed in on Dave with a bandage around his head as blood streamed down his cheek while he was being treated by a medic. Instead of grimacing in pain or giving a thumbs-up, he blew a kiss.

"So watch Dave Hoffman, our cameraman right on the sideline," announcer Kevin Kugler said during a replay of the hit, per Awful Announcing. "And Dave just gets blasted."

"But Dave's tough, though," colleague Joel Klatt commented. "Dave works with us on college football on 'Big Noon.' There he is. Nothing's gonna keep him down … I guarantee you, Dave is telling those guys, like, 'Guys, I'm good.'"

HuffPost reached out to Fox Sports to find out if Dave is, indeed, OK. The Louisville Kings defeated the host Columbus Aviators, 42-27, in the season finale.
