The Calgary Surge finally secured their first victory of the Canadian Elite Basketball League season, snapping a 10-game losing streak with a thrilling 102-99 win over the Brampton Honey Badgers on Wednesday night at WinSport Event Centre.
Guard Armani Chaney delivered the heroics, scoring the Surge's final nine points on three consecutive three-pointers. The game ended in a next-score-wins scenario under target time, with Chaney's last triple sealing the win.

Five Calgary players scored in double figures. Sean 'Rugzy' Miller-Moore led with 19 points, followed by Chaney with 16, Olumide Adelodun with 13, Marlon Johnson Jr. with 12, and Addison Patterson with 10.
For Brampton (7-4), Cameron Tyson topped all scorers with 21 points.
