SOME HONESTY ON PROGRESSIVE VIOLENCE
Maybe it is just me, but progressives appear to have a strong affinity for violence and destruction, particularly when used for political purposes. Their rhetoric and talking points frequently include terms such as “rise up,” “resistance,” “revolution,” “punch,” “tear-down,” “destroy,” “blow-up,” “hate,” “kill,” “bullet,” “bomb,” and “by any means necessary.” Today, anyone who disagrees with them is labeled a “Nazi,” “dictator,” “fascist,” “racist,” “white supremacist,” or “bigoted,” even if that person is Black, Jewish, or from any minority group that identifies as right-wing. For many leftists, hatred serves as a license. Conservative speakers can be shouted down, assaulted, or even killed, as was the case with Charlie Kirk. They glorify mass murderers like Mao, Stalin, Castro, and Guevara, and cheer on murderous terrorist groups such as Hamas. They claim to oppose fascism, yet they employ fascist tactics to intimidate, delegitimize, demonize, and control their opponents. Is it any wonder that there have been three assassination attempts against U.S. President Donald Trump? Can someone remind me how many assassination attempts were made against Obama or Biden? Is it merely a coincidence that many supporters of legal and responsible gun ownership are on the political right, while those who have attempted to assassinate Trump are on the political left? Violence certainly exists on both sides, but the current reality is difficult to deny if we are honest with ourselves.
PURCHASING POWER
When was the last time the Canadian dollar was above 80 cents against the American dollar? For me, that makes traveling to the U.S. too expensive. Travel within Canada is the alternative, but gas prices are ridiculous, so I am not driving at all. Check out a rail experience within Canada? The price is outrageous. Thank you, Liberal government, for doing nothing to make anything affordable for Canadian citizens.

(In fact, the opposite is happening. Everything is more expensive, Canada is experiencing record high insolvency rates, inflation remains high, and the dollar is weak.)
