Kelowna RCMP are investigating after a woman was found dead in a vehicle under suspicious circumstances. One person was taken into custody but has since been released with conditions.
Body Discovered on Baillie Avenue
Police responded to a report of a body in the back of a vehicle in the 800-block of Baillie Avenue on Tuesday. The woman's death is being treated as suspicious, though investigators have not disclosed the cause of death.
Suspect Detained and Released
A man who knew the woman was taken into custody but later released with a number of reporting conditions, according to police. The Kelowna RCMP serious crime unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances leading up to the woman's death.
